About North Bend Road

North Bend Road is an Americana/Outlaw Country band based in Western Massachusetts. Jeremy Fornier (drums), Ryan Connor (bass, vocals), and Mark Vocca (guitar, vocals) first got together in 2010 as members of Bold Ruckus, playing live shows featuring our favorite country classics along with a handful of original songs.

After an eight-year break, the spark returned in 2025. We headed back into the studio to finally record the songs we'd been carrying around for years. Jesse Mattson joined us as our recording engineer, but by our second session he had become much more than that—he became a member of the band. Before long, Jesse and Mark were co-writing new material, blending Mark's storytelling lyrics with Jesse's fresh musical ideas.

We're currently putting the finishing touches on our debut album while releasing singles and music videos along the way. Several folks have asked when North Bend Road will start playing live again. The answer is absolutely—we'll get back on stage as soon as the album is finished... and after bass fishing season settles down. Mark somehow manages to spend more time on the water than he does in the studio.

We'd also like to thank a few friends and exceptional musicians who helped make this record possible: vocalist Kathy Elias, guitarists Bill Bates and Ed St. Onge, and drummer Drew Blumenthal. Their talent and friendship have become part of these songs.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who has listened, shared a song, watched a video, or supported North Bend Road along the way. We feel incredibly fortunate to make music that connects with people.
